I am an Interior Designer based in Toronto

Jessica Prescott is an Interior Designer with over fifteen years’ of varied and relevant design experience in both of Canada’s major markets, and has demonstrable knowledge in interior space design, technical documentation, construction practices and building codes.

Most recently, Jessica lead the Interiors team at Moriyama & Teshima Architects where she was involved in a number of projects ranging from educational institutions, government facilities, civic, arts and cultural centres. Previously, Jessica was a member of the Workplace Design team at Gensler in Toronto where she worked with clients including Infrastructure Ontario, Desjardin and Brattle Group. During her time in Vancouver, Jessica was part of the creative design team at Sinclair Dental where she specialized in Health & Wellness interiors working with dentists throughout western Canada.

Jessica understands the need to listen attentively to the client’s needs and respond with a thoughtful and resolved design concept that can be developed and transformed into a well-received finished space. She utilizes her professional knowledge and experience with industry tools such as the Adobe Suite and Revit to assemble design development packages and construction documentation that ensures clarity of design intent.

Jessica holds an Advanced Diploma in Interior Design from Georgian College and an Architectural Technician Diploma from George Brown College. She has her NCIDQ and is a member of ARIDO and IDC. She is a member of the program advisory committee for the interior design program at Georgian College and holds the position of Chair.

She is a fan of the west coast modern expression of architecture found in and around the city of Vancouver. During the summer months, Jessica and her husband can be found relaxing, hiking, renovating and sailing at the cottage. Her husband works for a boutique structural engineering firm in downtown Toronto specializing in timber structures.
